Msc. Luuk Blaauw


Luuk is working on high-Reynolds number drag reduction using bubbles in non-ideal conditions in our Twente Taylor–Couette facility. Luuk worked with us before on Lagrangian particle tracking in Taylor–Couette flow during his master.
 

Msc. Peter Dung


Peter is working on the dynamics and effects of bubbles on the thermal transport and the flow statistics in turbulent bubbly flow in our new Twente Heat & Mass transfer Tunnel facility.
 

Msc. Yoan Lee


Yoan is working on multicomponent multiphase jets and Taylor—Couette flow involving water, ethanol, and anise oil; you would almost think he is making Ouzo!
 

Msc. Pim Waasdorp


Pim is working on the heat, mass, and energy transfer in turbulent bubbly flows including salt and surfactants in our new Twente Heat & Mass transfer Tunnel facility.

Simen Bootsma


Simen is working, together with Yoan, on the effect of neutrally buoyant particles on the multiple states in turbulent Taylor–Couette flow. His work involves torque measurements and laser diagnostics!
